This document describes how Aramark IT's Device Management system collects, stores, and uses your personal information, including your phone number, in connection with equipment loan and checkout services at LSU and associated venues.
By providing your phone number and personal information through our checkout kiosk, loan forms, or any other intake process, you agree to the terms described below.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information from you:
- Full name
- Mobile phone number
- Email address (if provided)
- Identification or employee/student number (if applicable)
- Checkout and return history for loaned devices
- Photos taken at the time of checkout (if applicable)
3. SMS / Text Message Consent
By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages (SMS) from Aramark IT related to your device loan, including checkout confirmations, return reminders, and overdue notices.
- Message frequency varies based on your loan activity.
- Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting Aramark IT staff directly.
- For help, reply HELP or contact Aramark IT at your venue.
- We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely for the operation of the Aramark IT Device Management system, including:
- Processing and tracking equipment loans and returns
- Sending SMS notifications related to your loan status
- Maintaining accurate records of device custody
- Identifying overdue or unreturned equipment
- Contacting you in the event of a device issue or concern
5. Data Storage & Retention
Your personal information is stored securely within Aramark IT's internal systems hosted on encrypted cloud infrastructure. Data is retained for the duration of your active loan and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your information by contacting Aramark IT staff directly.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data may be shared with Aramark management or venue staff only as necessary to administer device loans or resolve disputes. We do not share your information with unaffiliated third parties except as required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data, subject to record-keeping obligations
- Withdraw consent for SMS communications at any time
